The 2010 Khyber has Prior's new Hybrid Rocker Profile for off-the-charts powder performance!
The Khyber's wider nose, generous sidecut and increased taper have always provided excellent float and maneuverability in powder conditions as well as minimizing back leg burn in the pow. The new Hybrid-rocker technology releases the tip further allowing for improved float in the powder and increased, quick-turning nimbleness. Camber underfoot allows for performance in hard-pack and variable snow conditions too. The 2010 Khyber makes riding tight trees and critical sections easier than you've ever dreamed possible.
The Khyber is named after an off-piste area on Whistler Mountain that is legendary for its treed powder stashes. There is a great view of the Khyber region from the Prior factory - on a good day we can ride the Khyber trees almost into our back door.
Best for -
Powder of all kinds, tight trees, gnarly pillow lines. Also performs in variable conditions including hardpack, groomers and crud. Rides switch with ease on the hardpack too.

The Khyber offers all mountain versatility and is an excellent choice for riders of all abilities who want to maximize their powder pleasure while minimizing back leg burn with a quick-turning, surfy ride. The Khyber can be used as a one board quiver in areas that get plenty of snow.
Recommended length
The Khyber shape allows you to ride this style the same length or approximately 2-3cm shorter than a standard freeride board.
